The Villanova University Soccer/Lacrosse Field Construction Project involves the strategic installation of specialized sports infrastructure to meet the competitive and expanding needs of a high-level NCAA program. This project aims to enhance field safety, media functionality, and sideline comfort while providing a clean, professional appearance aligned with Villanova’s athletic culture.

BallStopper Sports Netting – Straight Post: 

Installed at multiple zones around the field, the MBS-30 and MBS-15 straight-post netting systems help prevent stray balls from leaving the field, protecting surrounding walkways and facilities. Designed with removable netting and ground sleeves, this system ensures quick takedown when needed. 

• Structural System: Heavy-wall aluminum posts (4–8" dia.) stand 10'-40' tall, spaced per project needs, and anchor into ground sleeves. 
• Netting & Cabling: Uses heavy-duty, UV-treated knotless netting with 1½" square openings (multipurpose sports balls), suspended from a vinyl-coated galvanized steel top cable to minimize sag; net tension is managed via a pulley system for wind protection all hardware is rust-resistant.

• Structural System: Features an all-aluminum top frame welded at nearly 600 points and a hot-dip galvanized steel bottom frame, measuring 8'H x16'W ×7'D, and engineered to resist sustained 75 mph winds when properly anchored. 
• Storage & Seating: Equipped with tinted ¼" plexiglass side and rear panels that shield from harsh weather yet preserve visibility; includes anodized aluminum benches (12" seat, 10" backrest).
