Proven Winners® ColorChoice®
Proven Winners® ColorChoice® selects improved new flowering shrubs for North American gardens and landscapes. We look for plants that are a good fit for the challenges of landscaping, like compact or fastigiate habits and improved disease resistance. Good looks help, too! We ship starter plants to nurseries across the continent who grow them on to landscape size, so you can find locally grown plants that are the right fit for your job. Whether you’re looking for an improved form of a familiar plant or something completely different, we have the plants to make your designs come to life.
Sunjoy® Mini Maroon® - Berberis thunbergii
Sterile barberry
This new barberry has all of the durable utility expected of Berberis, but is not invasive. The dark, burgundy-purple foliage is colorful all season long. This is a dwarf, low-mounded plant that is both sterile and rust-resistant. Although it forms both flowers and fruit, it does not set viable seed.
